It was clarified that necessary arrangements for fault isolation in devices that do not have inbuilt fault isolators shall be made by the Contractor at no extra cost to the Bank. Any additional cost likely to be incurred towards the same may be included in the cost of respective detector/ device. |

Query regarding relaxation in submission of solvency certificate. |
The tender condition requiring the bidder to submit a solvency certificate from its Banker remains unchanged. |

Query regarding requirement for submission of income tax clearance certificate by the bidders. |
The bidders may submit Income Tax Clearance Certificate/ Income Tax Assessment Orders along with the latest final accounts of the business for the last three FYs, duly certified by a Chartered Accountant. |

Query regarding requirement of police verification of the Contractor’s workmen during the project execution. |
The tender condition requiring the bidder to submit Police verification of all its workmen to be deployed at site, remains unchanged. |

Query regarding requirement of local service setup as a pre-qualification criterion. |
It was clarified that having a service set-up in Chandigarh tri-city is a pre-qualification criterion which is to be mandatorily fulfilled by the bidder(s). |

Request for increasing the time allowed for completion of work from 120 days to 180 days. |
The time allowed for completion of work remains unchanged at 120 days from the 14th day of award of work. |

Query regarding Minimum Base Rate for Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC). |
It was clarified that Minimum Base Rate to be quoted for the first year of Comprehensive AMC is 5% of the gross capital cost (excluding buyback).
The remaining tender conditions on Minimum Base Rate for Comprehensive AMC remain unchanged. |

Query regarding Networked graphics control station- Whether the Bank shall provide graphical representation of existing facilities being monitored, with floor plans and icons depicting the actual locations of the various systems and/ or sensors. |
The Bank shall not be able to provide graphical representation of existing fire alarm system components.
However, floor plans (in pdf format) of the office premises shall be shared with the successful bidder for graphical depiction of actual locations of the various systems and/ or sensors in networked graphics control station of the new fire alarm system. |

Query regarding sufficiency of degrade mode and requirement of additional standby CPU of the fire alarm panel. |
It was clarified that providing a redundant pre-programmed CPU is a mandatory requirement. This CPU shall take over the functions of the main CPU (automatically or with manual intervention) in event of failure of the latter. In case the bidder offers a pre-programmed CPU capable of taking over the functions of main CPU with manual intervention, the system shall continue to function in degrade mode (in event of failure of main CPU) till this manual replacement is complete. |
