मुद्रास्फीति पर घरेलू अपेक्षाओं का सर्वेक्षण

आज, रिज़र्व बैंक ने अपने द्विमासिक मुद्रास्फीति पर घरेलू अपेक्षाओं का सर्वेक्षण (आईईएसएच)1 2 के मई 2026 दौर के परिणाम जारी किए। सर्वेक्षण 2-11 मई, 2026 के दौरान 19 प्रमुख शहरों में आयोजित किया गया था, जिसमें 5,936 प्रतिक्रियाएं प्राप्त हुईं।

मुख्य विशेषताएँ:

  1. परिवारों की वर्तमान औसत मुद्रास्फीति धारणा पिछले दौर की तुलना में क्रमिक रूप से 60 आधार अंक (बीपीएस) बढ़कर 7.8 प्रतिशत हो गई है। अगले तीन महीनों तथा एक साल आगे के लिए उनकी मुद्रास्फीति की अपेक्षाएं क्रमशः 80 आधार अंक और 50 आधार अंक बढ़ गईं, जो दोनों समयावधियों के लिए 9.3 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच गईं [चार्ट 1ए और 1बी; टेबल 3]।

  2. अल्पकालिक अवधि पर, सामान्य कीमतों और मुद्रास्फीति में वृद्धि की अपेक्षा करने वाले उत्तरदाताओं के हिस्सेदारी में वृद्धि हुई; उत्पाद समूहों में भी इसी तरह की प्रवृत्ति देखी गई [टेबल 1(ए)]।

1 यह सर्वेक्षण रिज़र्व बैंक द्वारा द्विमासिक अंतराल पर आयोजित किया जाता है; यह उत्तरदाताओं की अपेक्षाओं के अनुसार निकट भविष्य में मुद्रास्फीति के दबावों पर दिशात्मक जानकारी प्रदान करता है और उनके अपने उपभोग पैटर्न को भी प्रतिबिंबित कर सकता है। इसलिए, सर्वेक्षण के परिणाम उत्तरदाताओं के विचारों को दर्शाते हैं, जिनसे रिज़र्व बैंक सहमत नहीं होता।
