आज, रिज़र्व बैंक ने त्रैमासिक ऑर्डर बुक्स, माल सूचियों और क्षमता उपयोग सर्वेक्षण (ओबीआईसीयूएस) के अपने 73वें दौर के परिणाम जारी किए, जो 2026-27 की पहली तिमाही के दौरान आयोजित किया गया था और 1,127 विनिर्माण कंपनियों को कवर किया गया था। यह सर्वेक्षण1 जनवरी-मार्च 2026 के दौरान भारत के विनिर्माण क्षेत्र में मांग की स्थिति का एक स्नैपशॉट प्रदान करता है।

समग्र स्तर पर, विनिर्माण क्षेत्र में क्षमता उपयोग (सीयू) पिछली तिमाही के 75.6 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर वर्ष 2025-26 की चौथी तिमाही में 77.4 प्रतिशत हो गया। मौसमी समायोजित क्षमता उपयोग (सीयू-एसए) पिछली तिमाही की तुलना में 30 आधार बिंदु घटकर वर्ष 2025-26 की चौथी तिमाही में 75.2 प्रतिशत रहा। वर्ष 2025-26 की चौथी तिमाही में सीयू और सीयू-एसए दोनों में पिछले वर्ष की समान तिमाही की तुलना में 30 आधार बिंदु की कमी आई है (चार्ट 1 और तालिका 1)।
