म्यूचुअल फंड कंपनियों की विदेशी देयताओं और आस्तियों का सर्वेक्षण - 2019-20
आज, रिज़र्व बैंक ने म्यूचुअल फंड (एमएफ) कंपनियों1 की विदेशी देयताओं और आस्तियों का सर्वे- 2019-20 के दौर के परिणाम जारी किए।
सर्वे में 44 भारतीय एमएफ कंपनियों और उनकी आस्ति प्रबंधन कंपनियों (एएमसी) को शामिल किया गया, जिन्होंने 2019-20 और / या पूर्ववर्ती वर्ष (सूची अनुबंध में दी गई) के दौरान विदेशी आस्तियों / देयताओं का धारण / अधिग्रहण किया। उनके एएमसी की बाह्य आस्तियों और देयताओं का स्टॉक विदेशी देयताओं और आस्तियों (एफएलए) पर वार्षिक गणना से लिया गया है और अनिवासी द्वारा धारित इकाइयों के अंकित मूल्य और बाजार मूल्य, इकाई प्रीमियम आरक्षित निधि और अन्य विदेशी देयताओं की जानकारी अनुसूची 4 के तहत एकत्र की गई थी।
मुख्य बातें:
I. म्यूचुअल फंड कंपनियां:

एमएफ कंपनियों की विदेशी देयताओं में 2019-20 के दौरान 15.7 प्रतिशत की गिरावट आई और मार्च 2020 में 9.6 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर रही, जिसमें मुख्य रूप से अनिवासियों को जारी इकाइयां शामिल थीं; उनकी विदेशी आस्तियां 0.8 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर पर में बहुत कम थी (तालिका 1)।

यूएई, यूके और यूएसए के पास अनिवासियों द्वारा धारित कुल एमएफ इकाइयों का 38 प्रतिशत हिस्सा है (तालिका 2) ।

एमएफ कंपनियों के विदेशी इक्विटी निवेश बड़े पैमाने पर लक्ज़मबर्ग और यूएसए में केंद्रित थे (तालिका 4)।
II. आस्ति प्रबंधन कंपनी (एएमसी):

मार्च 2020 में एएमसी की विदेशी देयताएं, 0.1 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर के उनके विदेशी आस्तियों की तुलना में 4.4 बिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर पर बनी रही (तालिका 5)।

यूके और जापान में अनिवासियों ने कुल मिलकर एएमसी में लगभग 89 प्रतिशत एफडीआई धारित किया (तालिका 6) ।

एएमसी द्वारा अपेक्षाकृत छोटा विदेशी प्रत्यक्ष निवेश बड़े पैमाने पर ग्वेर्नसे, सिंगापुर और मॉरीशस में धारित किया गया (तालिका 7)।
