The bidder may quote accordingly | | 4. | Penalty for Incidence of Theft/Robbery/Burglary | The contractor shall be responsible for all injury to persons, property, animals or things and for all structural and decorative damage to property which may arise from the operation or neglect of himself or any employee or either, whether such injury or damage arises from carelessness, accident or any other cause whatever, in any way connected with the carrying out of this contract. This clause shall be held to include inter alia any damage to buildings, property. The Contractor shall indemnify the Bank and hold it harmless in respect of all and any expenses arising from any such injury or damage to persons or property as aforesaid and in respect of any claim made in respect of injury or damage under any Acts of any legislature or otherwise and in respect of any award of compensation or damages consequent upon such claim. The Bank shall have right to recover any such expenses/damages from any amount payable to the Contractor or from the security deposit and the Contractor shall not object to such recovery. | The Bank may impose a monetary penalty of ₹25000/- for each theft/Robbery/Burglary or any similar incidences in addition to recovery of cost of such loss/damages. | All other terms and conditions mentioned in the tender remain unchanged.
