Minutes of the Pre-Bid Meeting

Reserve Bank of India, Protocol and Security Establishment, Mezzanine Floor, Mumbai Regional Office, Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg, Fort, Mumbai had invited “E-TENDER FOR DEPLOYMENT OF FIREMAN AT RESIDENTIAL COLONIES OF RESERVE BANK OF INDIA, MUMBAI” on May 29, 2026.

The modifications / amendments to the tender are enclosed. The Bidders are requested to submit the bid after considering the modifications given in corrigendum.

CORRIGENDUM

1. Period of contract The period of contract will be for the period of 8 months i.e., from August 01, 2026 / date of award of work (issue of the work order) to March 31, 2027 The period of contract will be for the period of 12 months i.e., from August 01, 2026 / date of award of work (issue of the work order) to July 31, 2027.
2. Age The contractor shall deploy medically and physically fit persons (only from the age group 20 years to 30 years for Firemen and from the age group 25 years to 35 years for Fire Supervisor). In no circumstances, firemen below 20 years and above 30 years of age and Fire Supervisor below 25 years and above 35 years should be employed. The contractor shall deploy medically and physically fit persons (only from the age group 20 years to 35 years for Firemen and from the age group 25 years to 40 years for Fire Supervisor). In no circumstances, firemen below 20 years and above 35 years of age and Fire Supervisor below 25 years and above 40 years should be employed.
3. Fire Supervisor (Reliever) The reliever will be provided by the contractor The fire supervisor will be required to deliver his duty at all the locations mentioned in the tender on all seven days.

4. Penalty for Incidence of Theft/Robbery/Burglary The contractor shall be responsible for all injury to persons, property, animals or things and for all structural and decorative damage to property which may arise from the operation or neglect of himself or any employee or either, whether such injury or damage arises from carelessness, accident or any other cause whatever, in any way connected with the carrying out of this contract. This clause shall be held to include inter alia any damage to buildings, property. The Contractor shall indemnify the Bank and hold it harmless in respect of all and any expenses arising from any such injury or damage to persons or property as aforesaid and in respect of any claim made in respect of injury or damage under any Acts of any legislature or otherwise and in respect of any award of compensation or damages consequent upon such claim. The Bank shall have right to recover any such expenses/damages from any amount payable to the Contractor or from the security deposit and the Contractor shall not object to such recovery. The Bank may impose a monetary penalty of ₹25000/- for each theft/Robbery/Burglary or any similar incidences in addition to recovery of cost of such loss/damages.

All other terms and conditions mentioned in the tender remain unchanged.
