Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up 1 (one) post (unreserved) of Bank’s Medical Consultant (on contract basis) with fixed hourly remuneration for the Bank’s dispensaries at “ Parag”, Senior Officers’ Quarters, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad -380 009 and at La Gajjar Chambers, Ashram Road, Ahmedabd-380 009 so as to reach the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Main Office Building, Human Resource Management Department, Near Gandhi Bridge, Ahmedabad- 380 014, not later than January 29, 2013.

Applicant should be a medical graduate of Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Medical Council of India and should, in addition, possess at least 5 years’ experience.

1. Contract will be initially for a period of three years. This term can be extended on such terms and conditions which are mutually agreeable to both the parties.

2. Candidates with previous hospital experience (at least 5 years) and who have their private dispensaries or places of residence near about the above dispensaries (within a radius of 5 kms) will, other thing being equal, be given preference.

3. The remuneration of the Bank’s Medical Consultant (on contract basis) will be fixed with reference to the actual duty hours as given below inclusive of all.

   2.	La Gajjar Chambers Ashram Road Ahmedabad 380 009	12.30 PM to 1.30 PM (Monday-Friday)
   	The Bank reserves the right to include any other dispensary situated at Main Office Building, Nr. Gandhi Bridge, Subhash Bridge Colony and Vasna Colony also with suitable time/hours in case of need.	Total duty hours: 11 hours per week.

4. The Bank reserves the right to review the rate of remuneration from time to time and alter the duty hours at its discretion in case it becomes expedient to suit administrative and operative requirements.

6. The Bank will be conducting an interview for the short listed candidates. Apart from those who may be called for interviews will not be granted to other candidates nor will the Bank enter into correspondence with them. Candidates selected for the post will be appointed subject to their being found medically fit.
