Search by Keyword

• With the exact phrase: Select this option to show documents which contains exactly the searched phrase.

• With all of the words: Select this option to show all such documents which contains the searched words, not necessarily in the same sequence.

• With at least one of the words: The result would show all such documents which contains any one of the searched words.

Search By: Date/Frequently Viewed

• Date: The search results will be displayed by the date of publication. The most recent document will appear on top.

• Frequently Viewed: The search results will be displayed in such a way that the document with maximum number of views will appear on top.

• Title of the document: Result will show such documents whose title/heading includes the words provided in the search box i.e. words in the search box will be searched only in the title/heading of the documents.

• Content of the document: Result will show such documents whose content/subject matter includes the words provided in the search box i.e. words in the search box will be searched in the entire document.

• Select this option when you want to search such documents related to a particular functional area of Reserve Bank of India. Example: if you search ‘interest rate’ and select ‘Monetary Policy’ as the function, the documents containing ‘interest rate’ and related to ‘Monetary Policy’ functional area will appear in the result.

Search Year-wise

• Select the year range from which you want to search for the documents. Example: If you click on Select ‘Past 1 year’ option, documents published in the last 1 year shall be displayed in the results. Alternatively, you can also provide date range which is explained in next point.

Custom Date Range

• Select ‘From’ and ‘To’ date range to search for the documents published during the provided date range. Example: If you select ‘From’ as March 1, 2017 and ‘To’ as December 31, 2017, documents published during the specified time period will only be displayed in the results.
