RBI approves the voluntary amalgamation of The Amod Nagric Co-operative Bank Ltd., Amod, Gujarat with The Bhuj Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (4) of Section 44A read with Section 56 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, has sanctioned the Scheme of Amalgamation of The Amod Nagric Co-operative Bank Ltd., Amod, Gujarat with The Bhuj Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Scheme will come into effect from December 15, 2025 (Monday). All the branches of The Amod Nagric Co-operative Bank Ltd., Amod, Gujarat will function as branches of The Bhuj Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat with effect from December 15, 2025.
