Under the extant instructions, the Commercial Banks are required to make disclosures relating to the Investment Fluctuation Reserve (IFR). Consequent to the issuance of draft Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks - Classification, Valuation, and Operation of Investment Portfolio) Amendment Directions, 2026, the related instructions have been reviewed.
