The Bank uses Currency Verification and Processing Systems (CVPS) at its Issue Offices (IOs) for authentication, fitness sorting, processing and destruction of unfit banknotes. To replace some of the old and ageing machines and to create capacities at RBI in anticipation of increase in the generation of soiled banknotes, a total of 29 CVPS machines are proposed to be procured by the Bank. The scope of supply shall include, besides the CVPS Machines offered and the maintenance thereof during and after the warranty period, all the concomitant training/technical support/incidental services/software/accessories, considered necessary to make the proposal self-contained and complete for operationalization of the machines. This also includes buying back nine (9) old CVPS machines across the RBI Offices. The Global Request for Proposal (RFP) document for the procurement is hosted on RBI website and Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP). Any amendment/corrigendum/clarification with respect to this tender shall be uploaded on the Bank's website/CPPP only and will not be published in the newspaper. The tenderers should regularly check the above website/CPPP for any amendment/corrigendum/clarification/addendum and submit the bid after verification of the same. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the proposals without assigning any reason thereof. Steps to be performed by the tenderer: a) Tenderers need to register themselves on the CPPP.
