The Deputy General Manager (Officer-in-Charge), Reserve Bank of India, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbi, invites sealed tenders from reputed and experienced transport contractors for supply of (1) Closed containers with loading capacity of 10 tonnes/20 tonnes for transportation of coins at their risk without police escort and (2) Sumos/Qualis (AC and Non AC), 9 and 18 seater mini buses (AC and Non AC) with pushback facility to carry Bank's representatives and police escort as specified in the schedules. The service contracts will be for the period from April 01,2009 to March 31,2010.
Copy of the schedules and tender forms along with the terms and conditions can be obtained from the Deputy General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Issue Department, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400 614 on any working day (Monday to Friday between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.) from February 9, 2009 by making a written request on letter head. The tender forms, duly filled-in may be submitted in sealed envelopes superscribed (1) 'Tender for transportation of coins' and (2)'Tender for supply of escort vehicles for remittance of Treasure' addressed to Shri K. Mohan, Deputy General Manager, Issue Department, Reserve Bank of India, Post Box No.15, Sector – 10, H. H. Nirmaladevi Marg, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400 614 so as to reach him not later than 2.00 p.m.on February 24, 2009. The bids will be opened on the same day at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of the authorised representatives of the tenderers. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason. |
