E-Tender No: 2026_RBI_295707 A ‘Pre-Bid Meeting’ of the intending bidders and Bank’s officials, for the captioned work was convened as per schedule at 11:00 Hrs. on November 06, 2026. List of the officials of Estate Department and intending bidders who attended the pre-bid meeting is given in Annexure-A. The following queries were raised by participants during the pre-bid meeting, as well as via email communications received from one of the bidders. Clarifications given by the Bank with respect to query raised are furnished below: | Sl. No. | Query raised by bidders. | Bank’s clarification. | | 1 | Please confirm whether the specified 40 metres of 3.5-core × 185 sq.mm aluminium armoured cable represents the complete cable requirement and provide the proposed cable route, if available. | Aluminium armoured cable of 40 metres length with 3.5-core × 185 sq.mm is sufficient and for cable route, bidders are advised to visit the site before bidding. | | 2 | Whether the control cables at site will be retained or should we consider new control cables. | New control cable of size 6 core x 2.50 sq. mm (approximately 25 meter length) shall be provided as the part of BOQ Item No.1. No additional cost will be paid for the same. | | 3 | Kindly provide details of the existing earthing arrangement and confirm whether these earth pits and strips will be re-used. Whether if required, the new Earthpits and earth strips will be covered under the customers scope or bidder scope. | Earthing shall be under the Bank’s scope of work including strips till the AMF Panel. | | 4 | Please clarify whether the existing exhaust piping can be reused or whether a complete new exhaust piping arrangement is required. | It is clarified that a complete new exhaust piping (approx. 6 meter length) has to be provided as part of Item No.1 in the BOQ. No additional cost will be paid for the same. | | 5 | Kindly clarify whether fresh approvals/inspection from the Chief Electrical Inspectorate is required for the replacement DG set. | Please refer to Para 45 of the Section-IV , General Conditions of the Contract. | | 6 | Please confirm whether the existing foundation to be used and if any modifications are to be done under Customer scope or bidder scope | Existing foundation may be used and modification, if any required for foundation shall be done by the Bank upon submission of the foundation drawings by the firm. | | 7 | Kindly clarify whether the annual non-comprehensive AMC amount shall remain fixed throughout the eight-year AMC period or whether any escalation is permitted. | The NCAMC (Non- comprehensive Annual maintenance contract ) rate is not fixed. The annual escalation will be done based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) values at the time of renewal of AMC Contract. | | 8 | The type of AMC is mentioned as CAMC instead of NCAMC in Para No. 5 ("Evaluation of Tenders") of the tender document. | Please refer to Para No. 5 - Evaluation of Tenders of the tender document. Para 5 may be read as “ The tenders will be evaluated not only on the basis of capital cost quoted for the DG Set less buyback value of the old DG Set but also taking into account the effect of rates quoted for Non-comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (NCAMC) for a period of 8 years after expiry of two year of Defect Liability Period by using Net Present Value (NPV) method.” | Note: These minutes of pre-bid meeting are for information of all the intending bidders and shall form a part of the tender document.
