The Reserve Bank of India, Chandigarh, invites tenders from eligible and interested firms—via the 'Forward Auction' process on the GeM portal—for the disposal of unserviceable furniture and electrical items located at its Main Office Building and the Reserve Bank of India Officers' Colony, Sector 44-B, Chandigarh – 160047. The estimated value of the work is ₹4,06,315/- (excluding GST and other taxes). 2. Eligibility criteria: As per Memorandum Clause 'h' in Section I of the Bid Document. 3. The e-tender process on behalf of the Reserve Bank of India will be conducted via a third party (GeM portal – Forward Auction) at https://forwardauction.gem.gov.in/eprocure/home. This is an open tender. Only those interested firms that meet the eligibility criteria may participate in the said e-tender process. The e-tender documents are available for download on the Bank’s website, https://www.rbi.org.in starting from November 05, 2026. 4. This e-tender shall be submitted online via the GeM portal through a 'Forward Auction' process, structured in two parts. Part I (Pre-qualification) of the e-tender will contain the Bank’s standard technical and commercial terms for the proposed work; bidders must accept these terms and upload all required documentary evidence. In accordance with the schedule of quantity (Annexures) provided in the bid document, bidders must submit their price bids for Part II of the e-tender through the forward auction process on the GeM portal. This is an e-tender; the presence of bidders is not required at the time of bid opening. 5. The Bank reserves the right to issue addendum, corrigendum, or minutes, which will be published exclusively on the official websites of the RBI and mainly on the forward auction module of GeM portal. Such updates shall form an integral part of the bid document, and no separate notifications will be sent to individual bidders. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to monitor these portals for any changes. 6. Firms (Tenderers) that meet the eligibility criteria and wish to be considered for the allocation of work must submit all required documents via the online GeM portal, as part of the forward auction process, by or before 17:00 hours on November 12, 2026. 7. Part-I of the tender will be evaluated from November 13, 2026, until 17:00 hrs on November 18, 2026, at the Estate Department, 3rd Floor, Main Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Central Vista, Sector-17, Chandigarh. 8.
