Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting - Dismantling of existing old boundary wall and re-construction of new boundary wall at RBI Officers Colony Hauz Khas, New Delhi

The Pre-Bid Meeting for the captioned tender was held in the Conference room of Estate Department area at 1st floor, Main Office Building at 12:00 hrs. on September 07, 2026. The meeting was chaired by Shri Yogi Raj Sharma, General Manager (Tech.), Estate Department.

At the outset, the Chairperson welcomed the participating bidder and requested him to raise his queries in connection with the tender document.

The response / clarifications given to the bidder with respect to each query, are as given below:

1. Design of the Mild Steel (MS) compound wall grill may be shared. The design of the MS compound wall grill, along with the wall design and sectional elevations, is enclosed herewith.
2. Clarity may be provided on rebate to be given for taking away old items. It was clarified that old items (bricks, grills, bars etc.) must be taken away by the contractor except for MS corrugated sheets and concertina/barbed wire fixed on to the boundary wall- these are to be stacked at the designated location as advised by the Bank (refer to Item No. 16 of the Price Bid).
3. Whether the Bank will provide support in respect of liaison with the local/statutory authorities (e.g. NDMC/MCD, BSES etc.) Although the Bank will provide, if required, the necessary support to the contractor in issuance of letter or in-person meetings, the ultimate responsibility for liaison and follow-up with the concerned authorities, lies rests with the contractor.
4. Can the work be carried out at night? No. As per prevailing regulations, sound-emitting construction equipment is strictly banned from being used or operated during the night (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) in residential areas.
5. Are workers permitted to stay overnight at the site? No. Overnight stay of workers within the Bank’s premises is strictly prohibited.
6. It is emphasised that before starting demolishing, the contractor must make the arrangement for temporary barricading along the boundary line to prevent trespassing, unauthorized entry, and to ensure safety and avoid untoward incidents.

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair and all the representatives of potential bidders.

Note: Above amendments / clarifications are issued for information to all intending bidders. Minutes of the pre-bid meeting shall form part of tender. All other parts of the tender document continue to remain unaltered. Submission of tenders shall be construed to be in conformity to the bid document and amendments/clarifications. All bidders are advised to print the pre-bid meeting minutes, affix their signature / stamp, and upload this document along with other necessary papers under submission of Part I of the Tender on the CPP portal.
