3. Deficit financing refers to changes in Government indebtedness to the Reserve Bank of India (both long-term and short-term).

5. Domestic borrowings and other liabilities includes market loans, long and medium term borrowings, small savings, deficit financing
and other liabilities.

7. Total resources includes domestic resources, net capital inflow from abroad, loan component of central assistance to state plans.
8. Total resources for 2005-06 includes ` 272.47 billion loan component of central assistance to state plans.
9. Total resources for 2006-07 includes ` 403.62 billion loan component of central assistance to state plans.
