- To bring out Governor’s Policy Statements as per the following schedule, which are announced in the meeting with select scheduled commercial banks as per pre-scheduled dates:
- Annual Policy Statement - April
- First Quarter Review - July
- Second Quarter Review - October
- Third Quarter Review - January
- Dates for Governor’s Policy Statements are announced either through press release or Policy Statement (contains the date for the next Governor’s Policy Statement).
- Pre-policy Consultation Meetings
- Annual Policy Statement and Second Quarter Review - With banks, market participants, trade bodies, credit rating agencies, self-regulatory bodies, NBFCs, co-operatives rural financial institutions and Economists and Journalists.
- First and Third Quarter Review - With the IBA and market participants.
- TAC Meeting on Monetary Policy - One week before announcement of each Policy Statement/at least once in a quarter prior to Policy Statement.
- Meeting with banks on their resource management.
- Compendium of circulars issued during a year - Annual
