Note : 1. Data for the period from 2002-03 to 2005-06 are latest Estimates and for 2006-07 are Annual Plan Estimates.
2. Own resources is sum of balances from current revenue as well as contribution of public enterprises.
3. Deficit financing refers to changes in Government indebtedness to the Reserve Bank of India (both long-term and short-term).
4. ‘Others’ include provident funds, term loans from financial institutions etc. and issue of bonds/debentures by PSUs.
5. Domestic borrowings and other liabilities includes market loans, long and medium term borrowings, small savings, deficit financing and other liabilities.
6. Domestic resources are sum of own resources and domestic borrowing and other liabilities.
7. Total resources includes domestic resources, net capital inflow from abroad, loan component of central assistance to state plans.
8. Total resources for 2005-06 includes Rs 27,247 crore loan component of central assistance to state plans.
9. Total resources for 2006-07 includes Rs.40,362 crore loan component of central assistance to state plans.
