Circular No. RBI/2004-05/125 Ref: RPCD.SP.BC.No 18/09.01.01/2004-05 August 17, 2004 Chairman/ Managing Director All Scheduled Commercial Banks, (excluding RRBs) Submission of progress reports and change in the periodicity of returns under Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) Please refer to our Circular No. RBI/2004/ 116, Ref: RPCD.SP.BC.No. 72 /09.01.01/2003-04 dated 25th March, 2004 wherein banks have been advised to furnish us the data under SGSY on monthly basis. 2. In consultation with the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, the formats for progress reports under SGSY have been modified. Accordingly, the submission of data by banks under the Scheme will be both on monthly and quarterly basis. The revised formats are enclosed. 3. While quarterly progress reports may be submitted within 45 days from the close of the quarter to which it relates, monthly progress report should be submitted within 30 days from the close of the month to which it relates. Progress reports (both monthly and quarterly) are required to be submitted in the revised formats for the month/quarter ended June 2004 onwards. 4. You may advise your controlling offices and implementing branches suitably under advice to us. 5. Kindly acknowledge the receipt.
