Lead Banks concerned Madam/ Dear Sir, Re-organisation of districts in the NCT of Delhi – Assignment and Review of Lead Bank Responsibility The Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi has notified re-organisation of districts in the NCT of Delhi vide Gazette Notification No. F.223/ SDM-II (HQ)/ Land/2025/285 dated December 25, 2025, whereby three new districts, viz., Old Delhi, Central North and Outer North have been formed and Shahdara district has ceased to exist. 2. Lead Bank responsibilities in the newly created districts have been assigned as follows: | Sr. No | Newly Created District | Lead Bank | District Working Code | | 1. | Old Delhi | Canara Bank | 03E (to be read as ‘Numeral Zero, Numeral Three and Alphabet E’) | | 2. | Central North | State Bank of India | 03F (to be read as ‘Numeral Zero, Numeral Three and Alphabet F’) | | 3. | Outer North | Punjab National Bank | 03G (to be read as ‘Numeral Zero, Numeral Three and Alphabet G’) | 3.
