Instructions on ‘Limiting Liability of Customers in Unauthorised Electronic Banking Transactions’ for Small Finance Banks (hereinafter referred to collectively as “SFBs” and individually as an “SFB”) have been consolidated in the Reserve Bank of India (Small Finance Banks – Responsible Business Conduct) Directions, 2025. Upon a review, it has been decided to issue revised instructions on the subject. Accordingly, the draft “Reserve Bank of India (Small Finance Banks - Responsible Business Conduct) Third Amendment Directions, 2026” has been issued for public comments.
