M/s Bharat IT Manager, DIT welcomed all participants to the meeting and invited queries from the prospective bidders regarding the captioned tender. Details of queries raised by representative of prospective bidders and clarifications/comments of the Bank are tabulated below: | S. No. | Query | Clarification given | | 1 | Whether EMD exemption is eligible for companies registered under MSME? | It has been clarified that EMD exemption for companies registered under MSME is applicable only for all the procurements (goods, services, work, contracts) having an estimated cost of up to ₹10 lakhs. For the present e-Tender, the estimated cost of work is ₹12.40 lakhs (inclusive of taxes). | | 2 | The bidder requested to reduce the Performance Bank Guarantee to 3% from 10% as per Govt. Circular no. No. F.9/4/2020-PPD | No change in the particular tender condition. | | 3 | The bidder requested RBI that as a standard practice Preventive Maintenance should be asked quarterly, Also, cleaning activity must be excluded from the scope. | No change in the particular tender condition. | | 4 | What would be the leave policy for the deployed RE's. It was requested to fix the rate card for backup personnel as it is very difficult to ascertain the factor cost as we have no data regarding leaves. | The bidder was advised that Resident Engineers (REs) can take leave as per general govt. rules. However, at least one of the two REs posted must be present in RBI Jammu on every working day. Further, a RE can avail of leave only after due intimation to the Bank. In the event of any exigency as intimated by the Bank, the vender shall ensure availability of back up engineer at the Bank’s premises in lieu of the Resident Engineer on leave. The vendor may change a RE during the contract after due intimation in writing to the Bank.
