At the outset, the Chairman welcomed the participants and advised them to put forth their doubts / queries, if any. Shri Sudhansu Vikram, AM (Tech-Civil) explained various aspects of the tender and Bank’s requirements, which needed to be taken care of in bid submission. 4. Original materials to be used. Authenticity of the materials used at site will be validated through authorised representatives of respective manufacturer. | | 3. | Can the labours work beyond 6 pm? | The work may be extended after 6 pm; if required, with prior consent of Bank officials.
Further, during day time work can only be done with minimum noise, since regular classes for trainees will be going on in Academic block. Grinding work can be done only on weekends, because the noise may disturb the trainees. | | 4. | Performance Bank Guarantee | The Contractor whose tender is accepted, will be required to furnish performance Bank guarantee of 5% (Five Percent) of the contract amount within the period specified in Schedule ‘F’. This guarantee shall be from any Scheduled Bank as per the approved pro-forma annexed hereto.
Further, as specified in the tender, the contractor will have to give Performance Guarantee of the entire Waterproofing works for 10 Years as per the prescribed Proforma on Non judicial stamp paper of required value. | | 5. | Warranty for the coating? | 10 years | | 6. | Safety Precautions | The contractor shall at his own expense arrange for the safety provisions as per the Safety Code annexed in the tender and shall also at his own expense provide for all facilities in connection therewith. | | 7. | Whether materials can be storage in the campus? | Yes the material can be stored on the terrace or in a room provided, if any, in the campus. | | 8. | Whether advance will be made to contractor? | Payment on Interim Certificate to be regarded as Advances. Interim Payments will be done as per tender clause. | | 9. | Whether water is available for cleaning of terraces? | Bank will make available water and electricity supply required at one point free of charge. Contractor shall make arrangement for connection with safety. | | 10. | Consumption of materials | Actual consumption of materials used should not be less that theoretical consumption as specified by Manufacturer’s specifications. If so, proportionate cost will be recovered from the bill. | 5. The bidders are requested to submit the bid after considering the clarifications given in the above minutes. (A duly signed /stamped copy of this Minutes of Meeting should be uploaded). It was reiterated that this is supplementary to the tender document and will form part of the tender. In case there is any conflict between the tender document and the corrigendum, the latter shall prevail. 6.
