Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting - Interior Renovation of 25th floor in Central Office Building Including Auditorium (Civil, MEP, HVAC, Electrical & Allied Works) at Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Mumbai

A Pre-bid meeting (through Webex) was conducted at 3.00 pm on October 7, 2022 with respect to the captioned tender no. RBI/Central Office/Premises Department/11/22-23/ET/309. Shri Metta Venkata Soma Sundar, GM (Tech) & Shri. Pushkar Ekka GM (Tech) led the proceedings of the meeting in presence of Shri D.P. Sinha, Independent External Monitor(IEM).

1. The item is 3mm thick Porcelain Tile cladding material which is available in the market.

2. please consider as per BOQ specification.

8 4.15 Please confirm Basic Rate is inclusive of PU Foam or Not Basic rate does not include PU foam.
9 5.1, 5.2 & 5.3 1- Please confirm only Acoustic Panel Need to consider or with aluminium frame for Basic Rate.
2- Any Backing Material need to consider or not. If Yes, then please provide Thk and type of material to use e.g. Ply Or Mdf

1. As per BOQ specification, Basic rate includes panel and aluminium frame.

21 8.4.1,8.4.2 & 8.4.3 Shutter thickness required for acoustic door As per BOQ specification and these items may be read with item nos. 8.2, & 8.3.
22 4 Marble thickness mentioned in BOQ is 18mm but in the market material available in 15 to 16mm only. Please clarify the same. 18 mm thickness marble available with list of approved makes indicated in the tender.

38 Kindly share the Technical specification Technical specifications are included in Part I of the tender.
39 Kindly provide duration of project 3 Months as specified in the Tender
40 Kindly provide the working hours of project 10.00 AM to 8.00 PM and on request of firm the time can be extended. However, police verification is needed for the workers.
41 Service lift availability Yes
42 Please mention DLP period on MEP equipment’s DLP for the work is specified in the tender.
43 Water and Electricity supply facility available. As per clause 31 (page 63)

4. The Bidders are advised to

  • submit the bid after considering the clarifications given in the above minutes and the same will form part of the tender.

  • submit the documents as applicable in the format prescribed in the tender.

  • Verify the dimensions indicated in the drawings.

5. All other terms and conditions and specifications of the tender document shall continue to remain same.
