Addendum/Corrigendum - Supply of closed metal body container, air-conditioned passenger vehicle and labour services for transportation and delivery of notes in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh

Minutes of pre-bid meeting

E-tender No.: RBI/Nagpur/Issue/17/19-20/ET/359

The prospective bidders are advised to note the following changes made to the captioned tender.

While the other conditions remain the same, the EMD should be deposited before 16.00 hours on March 12, 2020, failing which, the bids from such bidders will not be considered.
Section II- General terms and Conditions
Point F
i) The bidders are required to submit documentary evidence of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)/ Bid Security for an amount as specified in SOT along with the tender (Part –I).
ii) EMD can be submitted through NEFT.
iii) A tender, which is not accompanied by EMD, will not be considered. The Earnest Money will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidder(s) without any interest if her/his tender is not accepted.
iv) Under no circumstances, EMD will be accepted in the form of fixed deposit receipt of Bank or Insurance Guarantee or cheque.
2. Section III- Scope of Work
Point 4
In addition to the treasure vehicles, suitable vehicles for carrying the RBI representatives (up to 10 RBI potdars) and police escort personnel (up to 18 police guards) should be provided by the contractor. The vehicles provided should be air-conditioned, road worthy, in good condition, with proper and comfortable seats, all passengers’ seats must be facing to the front of the vehicle (minimum 6+1) to withstand the long journeys. The contractor should provide a certificate of fitness from the concerned Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI)/Road Transport Officer (RTO) and ensure vehicles being made available for the purpose should have road permit to travel in Maharashtra. Vehicle drivers must possess a valid driving license while on duty. While the other conditions remain the same, Containers and vehicles should preferably have an All India Road Permit but Road Permit to travel in Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh is mandatory.
3. Section III- Scope of Work
Point 10
The Contractor shall supply sufficient adult and able bodied mazdoors for the first hundred boxes and one additional able bodied mazdoor for every subsequent twenty-five boxes. Forklift can be used for loading / unloading of boxes, whenever necessary and damages to boxes should be avoided. Any instances of broken boxes (metals / wooden) will be taken as a serious note on the performance. It will be imperative on the part of the Contractor to have all weighing, stacking, loading, unloading, storing, of treasure boxes done by the proper mazdoors in a proper, careful, expeditious and workman like manner. The Contractor of their authorized representative should be present to supervise the work of the mazdoors and should remain in the Bank and at the currency chests as long as the work under the contract is in progress While the other conditions remain the same, 8 (Eight) Labours/ Mazdoors should be provided for first 100 boxes. Thereafter one additional Labour/ Mazdoor for every subsequent 25 boxes.
4. Section III
Scope of Work

The Contractor shall arrange to fix GPRS/ GPS devices in all the container trucks carrying the treasure at his own cost & provide access to the Bank to monitor the movement of the vehicle on real time basis. In addition, the contractor shall ensure the following
i. The container trucks/ vehicles shall be equipped with wireless mobile communication system along with a hooter.
ii. The container trucks/ vehicles shall have high resolution CCTV coverage of both passenger and cargo compartment.

Note:

  • The above corrigendum shall form the part of bid document / Agreement.

  • The corrigendum will also uploaded on MSTC portal.

  • Rest of the Terms and conditions and specifications of the tender document shall continue to remain same.

  • The above amendments / clarifications are issued for the information of all the intending bidders.

  • The submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the tender document and amendments / clarifications given above.
