Minutes of Pre Bid Meeting - Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Microprocessor based Security Alarm System for Bank's Additional Office Building at Nagpur

Corrigendum

The pre-bid meeting for the captioned work was conducted in Estate Department at MOB on 29.01.2020 at 11.30 AM in presence of the following:

For Reserve Bank of India:

Tenderers:

  1. Shri. Richik Ganguly, M/s Vignesh Enterprises, Nagpur.
  2. Shri. Santosh Kumar Nanda, M/s Texecom, Nagpur.
  3. Shri. Rahul Shrivastav, M/s Nimbus Security Systems, Nagpur.

Gist of the queries raised by the prospective bidders and Bank’s clarification on the same is as follows.

1. Whether Addressable Line Isolating Devices are required?

Bank’s Clarification: Addressable line isolating devices are not required.

2. Kindly clarify on “system should support long-range radio (LRR) communication”

Bank’s Clarification: System should have the provision of integrating with Bank’s Walkie Talkie system. The required patch panel for this purpose would be provided by the Bank.

3. Whether VDS certified system is accepted?

Bank’s Clarification: As mentioned in section V(II) of Part I of the tender, EN / UL / VDS certified system is accepted. The copy of the certificates should be submitted along with the material.

4. Whether acknowledging the alarm by Single Switch is sufficient?

Bank’s Clarification: Acknowledging the alarm should be only with password instead of push button.

5. Whether security alarm system require to be integrated with existing IPCCTV system?

Bank’s Clarification: At present no IPCCTV camera require to be integrated with the system. However, system should be capable of integrating IPCCTV system in future, if required.

6. Whether access control system and BMS system is required to be integrated with the security alarm system?

Bank’s Clarification: Access control system and BMS is not required to be integrated with the security alarm system but the system should be having provision of integrating access control system in future, if required.

7. Whether Path indicator is required audio or only flasher lights?

Bank’s Clarification: Path indicator is required only with flasher lights.

8. What is the output of Electronic Alarm Sounder required?

Bank’s Clarification: As per section V (iv) of part I of the tender, Electronic Sounder Alarm should be having an output of 90 dB.

9. What should be the Capacity of the battery for back-up power and make of the battery?

Bank’s Clarification: As per Sr.No. (iv) of section V(II), the capacity of the battery set shall be sufficient to supply power for the whole system for 48 hours under idle conditions and for at least 2 hours under alarm condition. Battery should be of any one of the make amongst Exide, Panasonic, Amara Raja.

10. What type of enclosure is required for foot operated switch?

Bank’s Clarification: Foot operated switch should be provided with powder coated metal enclosure having IP65 protection to protect from dust and water.

11. Is there any alarm required against the fault in the equipment / cable etc.

Bank’s Clarification: In case of cable fault / switch damage, there should be an alarm.

a. These minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form the part of bid document/Agreement

b. Rest of the terms and conditions and specifications of the bid document shall continue to remain same

c. The above amendments/ clarifications are issued for the information for all the intending bidders.

d. The submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the bid document and amendments/ clarifications given above.
