Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting - Group Term Life Insurance Policy for Employees of Reserve Bank of India from October 01, 2026, to March 31, 2028, Mumbai

An offline Pre-bid meeting on the captioned subject was held at Conference Room, 22nd floor, COB, RBI on September 10, 2026 (Thursday) at 1100 Hrs.

The queries from the participating insurers, and the clarifications/comments given by the Bank are given below:

1 Insurers requested for the Bank’s employee-wise data (Grade and Class wise) highlighting the following –

(a) Sum assured under the existing cover

(b) Sum assured under the entitled cover

This data was primarily sought for the purpose of underwriting the differential cover amount.
As indicated in Annexure II, data will be shared with the participants with the following details:
  • Date of Birth
  • Age
  • Class
  • Grade
  • Gender
  • Existing Cover
  • Entitled Cover
  • Differential cover
Data will only be shared upon submission of Non-Disclosure agreement, as specified in Annexure V.

The intending participants were advised that no deviation in RFP terms and conditions will be accepted by the Bank and all bids have to strictly adhere to conditions mentioned in the RFP.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the participants.
