The pre-bid meeting for empanelment of vendors for supply of mementoes to Reserve Bank of India, International Department, Central Office was held offline on March 25, 2026, at 11:00 A.M at Conference Room, 7th floor, DEPR, New Central Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Fort, Mumbai. Shri Gopal Prasad, Director, presided over the meeting. At the onset of the meeting, Shri Gopal Prasad, Director welcomed the participants. Shri Souvik Nag, AGM briefed the participants about the procedure to the applicants, which have been mentioned in the empanelment document also. Further, he invited queries, if any, from the participants in the matter. Applications submitted by any means other than above shall be liable for rejection. | | ii. | How vendors will be shortlisted for empanelment? | Empanelment shall be done based on the eligibility criteria, financial condition vis-à-vis experience of the vendor as specified in the empanelment document uploaded on Bank’s website. It was clarified that the applicants shall be empaneled at this stage only for supplying products specified by them in their application. | | iii. | What products are to be supplied as mementos? | An indicative list of the items has been provided in the empanelment document. Other Indianised items, as deemed fit by the Bank may also be considered. Vendors while applying for empanelment may clearly specify products they can supply. | | iv. | Whether the quotations shall be sought separately for each meeting? | Quotations will be sought meeting-wise even if the product is same. | | v. | Whether transportation cost for transporting mementos to venue city shall be borne by the Bank? | Yes, only for supplying items to cities other than Mumbai on actual basis, subject to production of bill, along with the delivery challan. | | vi. | How bill will be settled? | Bill shall be settled on bill to company basis, subject to items delivered matching with the sample provided at the time of submitting quotation. No request for advance payment shall be entertained. | | vii. | What will be the minimum quantity to be supplied? | This being an empanelment process, the Bank will empanel vendors dealing with manufacturing/trading/selling of products mentioned in the empanelment document. The Bank does not guarantee / promise / commit any minimum/stipulated number of orders / quantity. The final selection will be done on the basis of price and quality of products. | These minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form the part of empanelment document / agreement. Rest of the Terms and condition and specifications of empanelment document shall continue to remain same. The above amendments / clarifications are issued for the information for all the intending applicants. The submission of application by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the empanelment document and amendments / clarifications given above.
