The pre-bid meeting for the captioned e-Tender was held on February 03, 2026 at 03:30 PM in Issue Department, Reserve Bank of India, Lucknow.

3. The queries raised by the participants during the meeting vis-à-vis the clarification given by the Bank officials are as under:

1. How many labourers are to be deployed? The participants were informed that minimum 10-12 labourers are required for the regular cash operations. However, on certain days when there may be inwards of fresh note remittances along with other regular remittances, the number of required labourers may increase. The participants were informed that contract stipulates that sufficient number of adult and able-bodied labourers for handling of coin bags and note boxes have to be provided by the contractor. RBI shall give the intimation for the minimum number of labours required for the work as per the terms and conditions mentioned in contract. The participants were also informed that contactors may arrange the labours so that the daily work may start by 09:30 A.M.
2. What documents are required? The details of the required documents were informed to the participants. Further, it was informed that all necessary documents are mentioned in Section II of the tender document.
3. What is selection criteria for L1? The details regarding the selection criteria were shared with the participants. Further, the participants were advised to refer to scrutiny/evaluation section of the tender document.
4. What is client certificate requirement? It was clarified that client certificate is stipulated as Annexure II of the tender document. The same needs to be submitted by the bidder.
5. What are the different items of Price Bid? The details regarding the different items of miscellaneous work such as shredding of scrap bags in shredder and shifting of shredded scrap from one place to another place within RBI premises, charges for mazdoor for four hours or part thereof (for any other miscellaneous work) and charges for mazdoor for more than four hours till eight hours or part thereof (for any other miscellaneous work) were shared with the participants.

  • The above clarifications are issued for the information of all the intending bidders. The submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the tender document and clarifications given above.
