A Pre-Bid meeting in connection with tender No. RBI/Kanpur Regional Office/Estate/4/25-26 /ET/521, which was floated on MSTC on October 06, 2025, for the captioned work, was conducted at 11:00 AM on November 03, 2025 at DGM Cabin, Estate Department, RBI Kanpur. 2. After welcoming all the members, Assistant Manager (Tech-Electrical), Estate Department, explained in brief, details of work and important timelines of the tendering process and requested members to raise their queries, if any. Two firms have sent their queries through email viz. ‘S.S. Associates’ and ‘Meenakshi Electricals & Engineering Works’, which have been incorporated in the meeting. In this regard, we wish to intimate that since in DG Set business the sales are done by the sales dealers and service will be provided by directly by company or OEA or dealer appointed by Engine manufacturer, and sales dealer has no further role. | Bank has reviewed the suggestion and decided that the aforementioned condition of the tender remains unchanged. | | 2 | S.S. Associates | The battery capacity may be considered as per manufacturer’s recommendation. | Point no. 4 (d) of section VII - Technical Specification: “Batteries” stands deleted. | | 3 | S.S. Associates | In tender, the scope of civil was given like foundation cast and Cable Trench, But the above item is not being reflected in BOQ to quote the prices of above. | Bidder may refer to BOQ Item No. 1. | | 4 | S.S. Associates | The engine parameters like HWT, LLOP and speed and other engine control will be monitor through control sealed unit of engine controller. These faults cannot be transmitted to AMF Panel as Engine controller is sealed. | Clause 3.2(s) of Section VII - Technical Specifications: “AMF Panel” shall be read as following:
“The engine parameters like HWT, LLOP and speed and other engine control are not required on AMF panel”.
Other technical requirements of AMF panel shall remain same. | | 5 | Meenakshi Electricals & Engineering Works | In BOQ item no 2 & 3, the voltage rating of cable shall be 1.1 KV instead of 11 KV, as the requirement of cable to be used is of LT grade and not of HT grade. | The rating of cable in BOQ item no. 2 and BOQ item No. 3 shall be considered as 1.1 KV instead of 11 KV. | 3. The meeting ended with thanks to all the members. Note: This document (minutes of the Pre-Bid Meeting) shall form a part of the tender. -
Rest of the terms and conditions and specifications of the bid document shall continue to remain the same. -
The above amendments/ clarifications are issued for the information of all the intending bidders. -
