Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting - Micro Piling, Rock Anchoring And Allied Civil Works For Slope Stability Of Backyard Area of RBI Governor Bungalow, 5 M L Dahanukar Marg, Mumbai

The Pre-Bid meeting for the captioned tender was conducted on October 13, 2025 at 11.30 AM at Estate Office, MRO. Four firms had participated in the meeting, details of which are provided in the annexure.

(i) The internal compound wall needs to be demolished to a length of 6 to 8 meters, as there is no suitable entry point for the machinery. In this regard, please refer last Para of BOQ item No.20 which mentions “The work shall also include of making access to the site by dismantling and redoing the existing walls for access of tools and machinery at site"

The successful vendor should accordingly shall made minimum opening for shifting of machineries and redoing the wall after the shifting of the same without any cost to the Bank. However, contractor shall consider any extra cost involved in the work if any.
(ii) Removal of dumped waste material and tree leaves to get real ground strata of sloping area. It can be considered in the scope of work with additional cost.
(iii) Plantation should be removed from the footprint of the working area It can be considered in the scope of work with additional cost including clearance from local authorities.
(iv) Whether adequate space will be provided at site for storage of equipment and materials. The space/area where the actual work is to be executed is the only space available for storing/stacking the contractor material. Contractor shall accordingly plan the material logistic/delivery at site. However, the firm can make temporary arrangement at its own cost in the confined area.
(v) Whether Tree Cutting permission provided by the Bank. The slope stability scheme (as detailed in tender document) is prepared in such a way to avoid cutting of existing trees to the extent possible. However, if, such requirement arises, the successful contractor will do liaising with BMC for the same. In this regard, please refer tender clause “Section XIII, Schedule A – Note for Schedule of Quantities, point No.9.
(vi) whether MCGM fees will be reimbursed to the firm. Yes. In this regard, please refer tender clause “Section XIII, Schedule A, Note for Schedule of Quantities, point No.9.
(vii) whether water and electricity supply will be made available at free of cost at one designated point. Yes, electricity supply will be made available free of cost but for water contractor need to make his own arrangement. The successful contractor will however make his own arrangement for further extension of connection from existing available electricity point with safety fixtures at his own cost.
(viii) Access for the site is possible only from the main road and hence the Garden and the Kitchen Garden area will be badly affected. Weather Restoration of the same is included in our scope of works. Being a VIP property, the successful contractor shall strictly take due care while shifting machineries. If required, the contractor should deploy more labours and resources at their own cost for shifting and placing machineries at site location in workmen like manner without any damages to the Bank’s properties.
(ix) Daily time restriction in work, if any. Work may be allowed throughout the day during 10 am to 6 pm. However, Noise generating work shall not be executed between 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM. These 02 hours will not be considered in the part of hindrance. However, the work if restricted by Bungalow occupant or due to unavoidable circumstances from Bank’s side, hindrances for the same shall be considered by the Bank as per tender condition.

2. a) These minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form a part of the tender. Hence, it shall be signed and uploaded on MSTC along with the tender by the tenderers.

b) Rest of the terms and conditions & specifications of the tender document shall continue to remain the same.

c) Submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the bid document and minutes of the pre-bid meeting.
