Minutes of the Pre-Bid Meeting - Supply, installation, testing & commissioning (SITC) of 650 KVA Diesel Generator Set with AMF Panel and Acoustic Enclosure for Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur

The pre-bid meeting for the captioned work was conducted by Estate Department, at Conference Hall, Main Office Building on May 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM in presence of the following:

For Reserve Bank of India:

Tenderers:

Gist of the queries raised by the prospective bidders and Bank’s clarification on the same is as follows:

Query: Can we pay EMD via online NEFT mode to your given RBI bank account. Please confirm.

Clarification: Kindly refer tender part I, section II, point 6 (Page No. 26) for account details for NEFT transaction.

Query: Performance Security Bank Guarantee of 10% of Contract Value will be submitted upto DLP Period + 3Months for due fulfilment of the terms and obligations of the DLP. Please confirm.

Clarification: Kindly refer tender part I, section II, point 6 (Page No. 26).

Query: Security Bank Guarantee of 10% of CAMC Value will be submitted upto 9Years of CAMC Period for due fulfilment of the terms and obligations of CAMC contract. Please confirm.

Clarification: Kindly refer tender part I, section II, point 6 (Page No. 26).

Query: We will provide Central Electricity Authority of India (CEA) approval for DG Set operation. Please confirm.

Clarification: Kindly refer tender part I, section IV, point 7 (Page No. 79 and 80).

Query: What should be the arrangement for transit period between dismantling of old DG set and installation of the new one?

Clarification: The alternate DG set arrangement should be provided by the vendor for the transit period and during installation of new DG set. The operations and maintenance of the same should be carried out by the vendor. The rent and diesel cost of alternate DG set will be reimbursed by the Bank on the submission of bills.
