A pre-bid meeting for the captioned tender was held on March 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Conference Room (2nd floor), Reserve Bank of India, Bengaluru.

2. The queries raised by the intending bidders vis-à-vis the clarifications given by the Bank are tabulated below:

1 Whether Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) has to be submitted for both the tenders? The Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) has to be submitted only once. However, transaction fees applicable, if any, on the MSTC portal has to be paid for both the tenders separately.
2 Is there any exemption from payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)? There is no exemption from payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). EMD amount of ₹1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) (2% of estimated cost) has to be remitted by the bidder via NEFT only, to the Beneficiary Account Number: 186003001 with Beneficiary IFSC: RBIS0BGPA01 (5th and 10th character is zero), Beneficiary Name: Reserve Bank of India, mentioning Name/Company name of the vendor in the NEFT transaction remarks.
3 Is retention money mandatory? Retention Money @ 5% will be recovered from each on-account bill till the total recovery amounts to 5% of the contract value as stipulated in the tender document. Retention money will be released after completion of the contract.
4 How to resolve technical issues during bidding? The bidders were advised to contact the officials mentioned in page 5 of the tender document.

3. The above clarifications are issued for the information of all the intending bidders. Minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form part of the tender. Hence, it shall be signed and submitted along with the tender by the tenderers. The submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the bid document and clarifications given above.
