The details of the queries raised by the vendors and the Bank’s clarification/ comments are given below: | Sr.No. | Query | Clarification/Comments | | 1. | Whether the minimum wages are to be paid as per the Central Government rules | It is clarified that the rates of Item No 1 to 7 (Section I, Part II) in the price bid to be calculated are inclusive of Minimum Wages+ ESIC+ EPF+ Bonus + Reliever Charges and any other statutory payments. Any bid that has quoted rates below the Minimum Wages (Central Government) including Leave Salary, Bonus, PF, ESIC etc. if applicable, will be summarily rejected. | | 2. | Clarification regarding disposal of left-over food at the officers Lounge and Dining Room | It is clarified that the contractor shall do the disposal of leftover foods and other garbage on a daily basis at regular intervals to the satisfaction of the Bank and in line with Government / Municipality instructions issued in this regard. | | 3. | Whether the cost of egg/boiled egg/omelette is included in the rate for ordinary Lunch/Special Lunch | It is clarified that the rate for egg/omelette/boiled egg shall be included in the rate to be quoted for ordinary lunch/special lunch (Item No.8 & 9 of Price Bid). | | 4. | Query was raised regarding the bifurcation of Manpower at the locations for which catering service is to be provided | It is clarified that the Bank had taken into account the total Manpower required at all locations of the Bank where catering service is to be provided and the same is mentioned in scope of work along with the skill level required for the manpower deployed. Further, it was mentioned that the deployment of manpower shall be decided by the Bank after award of work to the successful bidder. | | 5. | Query regarding whether the cleaning materials shall be provided by Bank | No. It was clarified that contractor shall ensure usage of premium quality cleaning materials for cleaning of all the items as mentioned above at their own cost. | Note: The above amendments/ clarifications are issued for the information of all the intending bidders. Minutes of the pre-bid meeting shall form part of tender. All other parts of the tender document continue to remain unaltered. The submission of bid by the firm shall be construed to be in conformity to the bid document and amendments/ clarifications given above. | |
