Corrigendum

A pre-bid meeting was conducted on the scheduled date and time at 11:00 a.m. on January 20, 2025 with respect to the captioned e-Tender No. RBI/Reserve Bank Staff College/Estate/8/24-25/ET/711 at the Reserve Bank Staff College, Chennai.

3. The modifications in the tender document and clarification to the queries raised by the representatives during the pre-bid meeting are given below:

Clarification for the queries raised by the representatives

1 The Contractor shall take “Employee Compensation Policy”’ for all the employees deployed at the College for one year, renewable thereafter, if the contract is renewed by the College.

Query: Whether “Employee Compensation Policy”’ is necessary for employees covered under ESIC?
Yes. The Contractor shall take “Employee Compensation Policy”’ for all the employees deployed at the College including the employees covered under ESIC.
2 In the Section-VII The table on Indicative number of staff to be deployed it is mentioned that total number of staff required on any day is 68?

Query: Whether 68 persons has to be deployed for all the days?
“Total Number of Staff required on any day” in the table may be read as “Total Number of Staff required”.

Clarification:
The number of Front Office Assistants-(Semi-skilled), Electricians with ‘B’ grade licence- (Skilled) & STP & WTP Operators- (Skilled) has to deployed for all days as mentioned in the table.

For the other staff mentioned in the table, the number of staff to be deployed on each day will be decided by college considering one day leave per week per staff on rotation basis.
3 Front Office Assistants-(Semi-skilled)

Query: Normally front office assistants are graduates, whether they are to be treated as semi-skilled or skilled.
As the qualification is not pre-requisite for this post they are to be treated as semi-skilled.
4 For items mentioned at welcome kit it is mentioned as “any approved equivalent”

Query: What is meant by “any approved equivalent” if the said brand is not available as per the required quantity.
The equivalent items may be supplied with the approval of the RBSC.
5 What are cleaning machines to be used for cleaning? Basic cleaning machines such as floor polishing and vacuum cleaners may be used.
6 The cleaning of underground sumps and overhead tanks shall be done (mechanically) once in three months.

Query: Whether outsourced firms/person can be deployed for sump cleaning?
Yes. Underground Sumps and Overhead tanks shall be cleaned as per the extant instructions / method through specialized agency who are engaged in the field. The cost for the same must be borne by the contractor.
7 Disinfection work.
Whether the disinfection work has to be carried by IFMS staff?
Yes. Disinfection work has to be carried by housekeeping staff mentioned in the Section-VII “Indicative Number of Staff to be Deployed”

4. All other terms and conditions mentioned in the tender remain unchanged.
