Cancellation of Tender Corrigendum E-tender: RBI/Ahmedabad Regional Office/Others/1/24-25/ET/616[Annual Contract for Medicine] The pre-bid meeting for the captioned work was conducted at Meeting room, 2nd floor, RBI, Ahmedabad on January 10, 2025 at 11:00 am. Main Office Building, Navrangpura Officers Quarters and Subhash Bridge Staff Quarters, Ahmedabad and the same will be required to be delivered to the respective dispensary. Further, on credit slip, the Door-Step Delivery is required to be done to the Retired/ Serving employees/ eligible dependents within the Municipal limits of the city of Ahmedabad. | | 4. | What is the time limit for submitting the EMD? | The time limit as mentioned in the tender document, is on or before January 27, 2025 (10:00 am). | | 5. | What if the name of the medicine is changed by the pharma company during the panel year? | Change in the name of medicine may be informed/ brought to the attention of our Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC)/ Dispensary. Purchase Order will be issued accordingly in consultation with the BMC. | | 6. | Period of validity of Bank Guarantee for 6 months beyond the completion of panel year may be shortened to 1 or 2 months. | The period of 6 months beyond the completion of panel year has been fixed in accordance with the Bank’s extant guidelines. | | 7. | Whether the discount offered by the vendor may be changed during the period of contract. | It was clarified that the individual discount for each medicine/ drug and supply on credit slip quoted by the bidder shall remain fixed and valid for the contract period, irrespective of any change in MRP of the product during the contract period. | | 8. | What is the validity of contract? | The contract will be valid for a period of one year i.e., April 01, 2025 to March 31, 2026. | | 9. | What is the process of delivery on credit slip? | It was clarified that credit slips are being issued by the BMCs to retired, serving employees or eligible dependents based on the prescription of their doctor. The successful bidder has to deliver/ door-step deliver the credit slip medicines to the staff/ ex-staff as per the uniform discount quoted in the tender regardless of the amount of the bill. Original bills raised against the credit slips (along with the original credit slips) shall be sent on monthly basis to CES, RBI, Ahmedabad for payment. | | 10. | What is the Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) amount? | The successful bidder will have to furnish a PBG for an amount of 10% of expected Annual Procurement value awarded to him. | | 11. | What is the penalty for delay/ Default in fulling the order? | The penalty will be levied as per terms and condition of the annual contract, as mentioned in para 11 of Special Terms and Conditions. | AGM (CES) advised the vendors to read and understand all the terms and conditions of the tender before submitting the rate quotes on MSTC portal. He also apprised the vendors that, in case of any technical issues pertaining to MSTC site, the contact details of MSTC were mentioned in the tender document. Further, the vendors were advised to strictly follow the timelines as mentioned in the Notice Inviting Tender and not to wait for the last date for quoting their price bids to avoid any last-minute issues.
