Minutes of Pre Bid Meeting - Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Crash Rated Bollard at Main Gate of Main Office Building at Nagpur

Corrigendum dated December 21, 2020

The pre-bid meeting for the captioned work was arranged on December 07, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Estate Department at MOB in the presence of the following:

For Reserve Bank of India:

  2. Shri. Alok Kumar, Manager (Estate)

  3. Shri. Sunil S. Phadke, A.M (Tech-Elect)

  4. Shri. Ram Prasad Malle, A.M (Estate)

  5. Shri. Abhinav Pullak, J.E (Tech-Elect)

  6. Shri. Swapnil G Tule, J.E (Tech-Elect)

Tenderers:

  1. M/s Technocrats Security Systems Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai (sent queries through e- mail).

  2. M/s Swaraj Secutech Pvt. Ltd, Ahmedabad (sent queries through e- mail).

Gist of the queries raised by the prospective bidder and Bank’s clarification on the same is as follows.

1. Whether only Bollards supplied by OEM is accepted or Bollards supplied by manufacturer under license is also accepted?

Bank’s Clarification: Bollards supplied by OEM as well as manufacturer under license are also accepted for wider competition.

2. How much penetration of Bollards during physical crash test is accepted?

Bank’s Clarification: Penetration of Bollards as mentioned by the certifying agencies and as applicable for K4 crash rated Bollards is accepted.

3. Which are the certifying agencies of the Bollards?

Bank’s Clarification: Name of the certifying agencies has been mentioned in clause No.2.1.8 of part I of the tender.

4. Whether Bollards with external Hydraulic unit will be accepted?

Bank’s Clarification: There will not be any change in the technical specifications of the tender.

5. Whether crash rating test done on more than one Bollard is accepted?

Bank’s Clarification: As mentioned in clause 2.1.8 of the part I of the tender, physical crash rating test, of the quoted make and model of the Bollard, should have been done on single Bollard.

6. Whether exemption for EMD can be given to MSME companies?

Bank’s Clarification: No. As per part I of the tender, EMD should be submitted by all the bidders. Bids submitted without EMD are not accepted.
