NIT No. RBI/Central Office/Premises Department/7/18-19/ET/269 In terms of Schedule ‘E’ of Part-I of the tender document for the captioned tender, a Pre-bid meeting was held on March 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at 6th floor, Central Office Building, Reserve Bank of India, Fort, Mumbai - 400 001. The pre-bid meeting was attended by the representatives of the following vendors for workstations. 1. M/s Wipro Furniture

Mrs. Rashmi Gehani, AM (Gen) The following points were discussed in the meeting: | Sr. No. | Subject | Clarification | | General terms and Conditions: | | 1. | Submission of tender forms and annexures | The parties were instructed to upload the tender Part I and all the annexures duly filled in alongwith supporting documents well in advance of the last date to avoid last minute hitches and errors. | | 2. | EMD | It was clarified that in lieu of EMD, Bank Guarantee can be submitted as per clauses mentioned in the tender.EMD can also be remitted to Reserve Bank of India Account on or before 1:00 PM of 16/04/2019.
It was also clarified that Proof of remittance indicating transaction number and other details shall be uploaded on Bank’s approved e-tender portal along with other tender documents. | | 3. | MSTC registration | Important instruction for e- tendering through MSTC is detailed in Schedule H on page no 99 of Tender part I. It was advised to go through the same process and upload their tender and annexures alongwith supporting documents well in advance to avoid future complications. | | 4. | Partitions | (a) It was clarified that partition-framework shall be made out of Extruded aluminium sections both for horizontals and verticals, having minimum wall / formation thickness of (16 SWG) 1.5mm and nominal ( minimum) sizes 50 x 50 mm Aluminium extruded corner post, Aluminium sections horizontal and vertical made from 16 gauge (1.5 mm) extrusions. The partition shall be finished with profiled aluminium alloy extruded trims (horizontal- top and vertical-end stripe) of 15 x 50 mm (or overall thickness of the partition panels whichever is higher) and having minimum wall / formation thickness of (18 SWG) 1.2 mm.
(b) The thickness of the matt finish powder coating shall be as per tender specifications i.e. minimum 40 to 50 micro-meters (microns). A certificate guarantee minimum 10 year’s life of powder coating shall be furnished along with each supply.
(c) The prelaminated panels/tiles shall be made out of approved make and shade, minimum 9 mm thick as per tender specifications.
(d) It is specified in the tender part part I, on page 77 Sr.No. (e) that 100 mm wide removable / flap type raceway cover plates made out of 16 SWG (1.5 MM ) thick aluminium alloy sheet shall be provided. But in the drawing it is shown as 12 SWG (2.6 mm) thick aluminium alloy sheet. It was clarified that tender specifications are to be followed i.e. 16 SWG (1.5 mm) thick raceway should be provided having 100mm height.
(e) In case of 1200 mm height partition, glazed panel shall be made out of minimum 6 mm thick approved quality/make toughened glass (clear or patterned glass). The single glazed panels shall be fixed on the framework above work surface level in such a way that no screw is visible on external surfaces.
(f) In case of 2100 mm height partition, there will be regular partition upto 1200 mm height and above 1200 mm height upto 2100 height, glazed panel shall be made out of minimum 8 mm thick approved quality/make toughened glass (clear or patterned glass. | | 5. | Work top surface- | It was clarified that the work surface shall be made out of 25 mm thick Interior grade MDF board with 0.6 mm thick laminated top and bottom and it will be single piece as shown in the drawing. All the edges of the table and gable ends shall be finished with PVC edge binding as per the tender specifications. | | 6. | Tender Drawings | Tender drawings will be mailed to the agencies who have attended the pre-bid meeting as same is not available on RBI website. | | 7. | List of approved materials and suppliers - | List of approved materials and manufactures is specified in the tender part I on page 81. It is also mentioned that any other equivalent materials can be used. It was clarified that the test report ISI / ISO certificate should be uploaded alongwith the part I of tender documents, to prove the equivalence of the material if other than approved brand is proposed to be used. | | 8. | Non availability of Format 1A as a part of tender part I | M/s. Unimaple Modutech Pvt. Ltd. Has raised the query that Format 1 A has not being enclosed. It is to clarify that In Format 1 A, details of List of Technical Personnel, Giving Details about their Technical Qualifications, Experience including that in RBI is to be given which is not required in captioned work. The bidders are requested to give their firm/ organisation details in Format 1 only. | | 9. | Mock up | It was clarified by DGM (Arch) that the mock up should be made referring technical specifications. Material sent to site should be of same specifications and sizes as the sample approved by the Bank. | | 10. | Time period | It was clarified that time is essence in the captioned work and it needs to be manufactured and delivered at site within scheduled time. | | 11. | Duration and past experience | It is mentioned on page no 8 of tender part I that contractor should furnish the details of the work which are being carried out prior to December 31st, 2013 in Format 2 to prove the establishment of their company is more than 5 year in this field. | | |
