The Reserve Bank of India (hereinafter to be referred as “the Bank”) intends to prepare a panel of reputed and experienced contractors/vendors for the following services for the period of three years:

1. Agreement for supply of labour and transportation of Notes
2. Agreement for supply of labour and transportation of coins

The applicants for (a) & (b) should have sufficient experience of not less than 3 years in handling such work. They should provide adequate number of roadworthy container trucks/trucks fully covered with metallic body of sufficient thickness and also with secure/tamper proof double locking arrangements. Vehicles and Labour should be provided as per requirement without any delay. The vehicles should be preferably equipped with camera with recording facility of minimum 15 days, GPS facility for tracking their movement at any point of time. Minimum of 4 persons should be provided in a truck for monitoring in the transportation of coins. The Bank is not responsible for providing insurance and security for transportation of coins.

The estimated cost for supply of labour and transportation of coins would be approximately Rs. 3 - 4 Crore per annum which may undergo changes depending upon different scenarios.

The estimated cost for supply of labour and transportation of notes would be approximately Rs. 2 - 4 Crore per annum which may undergo changes depending upon different scenarios.

Application forms for empanelment of contractors / vendors as at (a) and (b) can be collected from the General Manager, Issue Department, Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad, between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on all working days upto March 23, 2018.

Duly completed application forms for superscribed:

2. Application for Empanelment for Agreement for supply of labour and transportation of coins

may be submitted in sealed covers, addressed to Shri. R. Subramanian, Regional Director for Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad so as to reach him not later than 4.00 pm on upto March 23, 2018. Empanelment Notice is also placed on the website of the Bank (www.rbi.org.in).

Applicant should note that the tender will be allotted through e-tendering. To participate in e-tendering process all the empanelled vendors / contractors are required to have Digital signature Certificates.

The Bank reserves all the rights to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
