1) Sealed tenders are invited under two- bid system from reputed agencies/ companies for Housekeeping of Bank’s Executive VOF (Two rooms with attached toilets, gymnasium and drawing cum dining room along with one balcony), Bank Visiting officers flats (six rooms with attached toilet & bathroom along with one balcony and one drawing cum dining hall area between two rooms) at Reserve Bank Officers Quarters, Civil Lines, Kanpur and Transit Holiday Home (Two rooms with common toilet & bathroom along with one balcony and one drawing cum dining hall area between two rooms) at Reserve Bank Officers Quarters, Tilak Nagar, Kanpur for an initial period of one year (1st July 2017 to 30th June 2018), which may further be extended up to two years, subject to annual review by the Bank based on the performance of the service provider/s.

2) The Bidder should have experience in the similar work in the Government Departments/ Public Sector (Central or State)/ reputed private sector companies/ Multinational Corporations/ Public or Private Sector banks/ Three-star and above category of hotels directly running their own kitchen and upkeep of the hotel for the last three consecutive years. The bidder has to submit the relevant work experience certificates of having successfully completed similar works/ contracts during the last three years.

3) The tender forms can be downloaded from the Bank’s website https://www.rbi.org.in under the link Tenders.

4) Tender forms should be submitted with detailed information in writing along with supporting documents to satisfy the Bank about eligibility as specified in Part– I and Part – II of the tender. In case eligibility criteria are not fulfilled, the tender form will be rejected.

5) Tenders along with the EMD of ₹ 40000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only) in the form of Demand draft drawn on a scheduled bank favoring Reserve Bank of India payable at Kanpur, shall be received in sealed cover addressed to Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Kanpur up to 3:00 PM on 31/05/2017. However, at any time prior to the last date for receipt of tender, RBI, Kanpur, may, for any reason, whether at its own initiative or in response to a clarification requested by a prospective tenderer, modify the tender document by an amendment. The amendment will be notified on RBI website https://www.rbi.org.in and shall be binding on the prospective tenderers. In order to afford prospective tenderers reasonable time in which to take amendment into account in preparing their bids, RBI, Kanpur, may at its discretion, extend the last date of submission of tender. No tender may be modified subsequent to the last date of submission of tender. No tender may be withdrawn in the interval between the last date for submission of tender and the expiry of the tender validity period specified by the tenderer in the tender. Withdrawal of the tender during the interval shall result in forfeiture of the EMD The Part I of tender will be opened at 4 pm on 31/05/2017 in the presence of the authorized representative of the tenderers, who wish to be present. The Part II of only those tenderers will be opened who are found eligible after the scrutiny of Part I. The date of opening of Part II will be intimated to the eligible Tenderers. The authorized representatives of the tenderers may be present during the opening of Part II of the tender.

6) The Bank is not bound to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to accept either in full or in part any tender and to reject any tenders without assigning any reason there for.
