Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi invites applications for empanelment of contractors for undertaking maintenance and repair work's of Bank's properties at various locations in New Delhi costing upto and including Rs.50 lakh at any one time for various trades and categories in General repair and repainting work, Civil–Carpentry, Plumbing & Sanitary, Replacement of glass panes, Steel-Fabrication works, interior work, repair of furniture, Maintenance and development of Horticulture/gardening work, Pest Control Service, Disposal of scrap and waste, Repairing of ceiling fans/electrical pump sets/motors, Maintenance of water cooler, window and split AC Units, Maintenance of EPBAX, Telephones/Security System, supply of Electrical fitting, fixture/equipments and accessories , Maintenance & repairing of AC plants/Refrigerator/Air Conditioners, T.V, Washing Machine, Maintenance of wet-riser system/sprinkler system, Maintenance of substation/AC Plants/Electricals items in residential colonies/Office Building, Water tanker supply, Maintenance of 11KV substation, Electrical installation, DG Set installation, House-keeping, Supply and maintenance of Fire-Extinguisher, AC Ducting Work, Compactor, Water-proofing work (applicator) , Operation & installation of AC Plant, Operation of lift & Substation in the office Building/residential colonies.
2. Only those contractors who are registered with the Govt./Semi-Govt. undertakings’, Financial Institutions as maintenance contractor or having minimum 5 years of experience in the field of undertaking similar maintenance and repair works and have executed two or more similar works individually costing not less than Rs.1.00 lakh for Category I, Rs.2.5 lakh for Category II, Rs.5.00 lakh for Category III and Rs.25.00 lakh for Category IV during last 5 years and having a minimum yearly turnover of Rs.0.60 lakh , Rs.1.50 lakh, Rs.3.00 lakh and Rs.15.00 lakh during the last 3 years for Category I,II,III and IV respectively, will be eligible to take application for empanelment of contractors.
3. The application form will be issued only to those contractors who furnish, at the time of applying for the application forms documentary evidence of fulfilling the qualification mentioned above in writing/documents to satisfy the Bank about their eligibility for issue of application form. In the event of intending firms’ failure to satisfy the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to refuse issuance of application form/documents to them.
4. The application forms will be issued free of cost from the Office of Assistant General Manager, Estate Department, Reserve Bank of India, 6, Sansad Marg, New Delhi-110001 from 01.10.2011 to 31.10.2011 on working days (Monday to Friday) between 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM. Application form can also be downloaded from the website www.rbi.org.in. In case of down loaded documents, the Bank reserves the right to reject the application form which does not meet the eligibility criteria.
