Estate Department, Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata had published Notice Invited Tender (NIT) for Limited tender from the empanelled vendors or firms [Section-A, Trade-01, Category-III, Above Rs.10 (Ten) Lakh to Rs.30 (Thirty) Lakhs] in a short notice for Providing, fabricating, fixing & welding Car shed at BMOP, RBI, Kolkata on January 15, 2020 (E-tender no. RBI/Kolkata/Estate/160/19-20/ET/313) with approval of CGM dated January 10, 2020. The last date of submission of e-tender of the above work has been extended upto February 06, 2020 with the approval of CGM dated January 29, 2020.

Part-II

Sl. no. 1 of Part-II (Unpriced Bid / Schedule of Quantities) is amended as follows:

Original text- Providing, welding, Fabricating & constructing both side cantilever shed by doing electric welding the 4 mm thick solid polycarbonate sheet with necessary MS frame work.

The above work should be carried out as per attached sketch & specification are given below :-

(A) FRAMING :-

(a) Vertical posts are made of 2 nos. 72 x72x4.0 mm MS Black Square tube including 12 mm thick base plate of size 500 x 400 mm duly welded. (5 nos. set)

(b) Tube Horizontal Ties (Between two truss) are made of 49.5 x 49.5 x 3.6 mm MS Black Square Tube – 2 nos.

(c) Truss are made of with 96 x 48 x 4.0 mm MS Black rectangular tubes as main member.

(d) Purlins are made of 49.5 x 49.5 x 3.6 mm MS Black square tube @ 657 c/c. (7 nos.).

(e) Providing & welding 10 mm thick (300 x 150 mm) MS plate at the junction of vertical post and base plate.

(f) Bracings / Ties are made of 49.5. x 49.5 x 3.6 mm and placed when & where required.

(g) Providing & welding 150 mm long black rectangular tube (96 x 48 x4.0) with main truss below purlin (both ends)

(h) All junction should be properly welded.

B) TOP sheet: Providing & fixing 4 mm thick colour solid polycarbonate sheet of approved make, shade & design over the purlins with necessary screw.

C) GUTTER (Dongue): Providing & fixing standard thick polycarbonate or PVC Gutter with necessary m.s. frame work on the both ends.

The rate quoted shall include the cost of providing & applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint over a coat of metal primer on entire MS framing, providing & grouting the base plate of vertical posts with 8 nos. heavy type screw / nut & fastener, providing 150 mm lap with adjacent sheet while fixing, lifting, scaffolding disposing off the debris out of Banks premises etc. all complete as directed by Banks Engineer-in-Charge. (Plan area measurement will be taken for payment) (Basic rate of 4 mm thick polycarbonate sheet =Rs.1680/- per Sqm excluding GST)

(d) Purlins are made of 49.5 x 49.5 x 3.6 mm MS Black square tube @ 657 c/c. (7 nos.).

(e) Providing & welding 10 mm thick MS plate at the junction of cantilever truss and wall plate.

(f) Providing & welding 150 mm long black rectangular tube (96 x 48 x4.0) with main truss below purlin (both ends)
