Minutes of Pre-Bid meeting – DSITC of Fire Alarm System at MOB & AOB

DSITC of Fire Alarm System at MOB & AOB.

The pre-bid meeting for the captioned work was held at Reserve Bank of India, Main Office Building (MOB), Nagpur on 05.07.2018 11.00 AM and following were participants.

Details of discussions held in the meeting are as follows:

1. In the work experience whether it is mandatory to have used same make of the material as mentioned in the list of the approved makes of the material in the tender.
Bank’s Clarification: It is not mandatory to have used same make of the material as mentioned in the Bank’s tender for the works carried out by the firm at their other sites.

2. LPG detectors are not available in the approved make of the Bank.
Bank’s Clarification: LPG detectors with reputed makes like Honeywel, Vighnaharta, Ravel and Prism will be accepted.

3. Whether OEM’s authorisation letter for participating in the tender is required?
Bank’s Clarification: OEM’s letter is required only for after sales support up to the minimum period of 8 years form the date of installation of the system as per the format given in Annexure III of the tender.

4. Clarification about the scope of the items included in the CAMC.
Bank’s Clarification: As mentioned in the Bill of Quantity entire fire alarm system including Main fire alarm panel, all the devices and cabling is included in the CAMC. It is also clarified that submission of B form and periodic renewal of fire licence during the contract and CAMC period is mandatory for the firm.

5. Whether service set up of the OEM is required in the Nagpur.
Bank’s Clarification: Service set up of the tenderer is required in the Nagpur for attending immediate breakdown calls.

6. Whether control module with two outputs are acceptable.
Bank’s Clarification: Control module / monitor module with only single output is accepted.

7. Whether Bank’s Building drawing will be provided by the Bank?
Bank’s clarification: Bank will not provide any drawing. Firm has to make their own drawing as per the layout for the fire alarm system at their own cost and submit the same to the Bank before execution of the work.

8. Whether degrade mode and redundant CPU is mandatory?
Bank’s clarification: The system must be having a feature of degrade mode. If redundant CPU is not available, firm should provide fully configured CPU for readymade use.

9. Firms requested to change the condition of having 640 character display.
Bank’s clarification: Firm should supply the system having 640 character display size.

10. Device shall be capable of being set to an address in a range of 001 to 150. Whether this condition is mandatory?
Bank’s clarification: Yes, the system should be capable of being set to an address in a range of 001 to 150

11. Tenderers requested for revised date of visit of site before submitting the bid.
Bank’s clarification: The site visit has been arranged on 23.07.2018 at 11.00 am for Main Office Building and at 02.00 pm for Additional Office Building.
