Tender Notice

Maintenance and catering of Visiting Officers' Flats and Transit Holiday Home in Bank’s Quarters at La Place, Shahnajaf Road, Lucknow and sector J, Aliganj, Lucknow

Sealed tenders in two parts are invited for Maintenance and catering of Visiting Officers' Flat and Transit Holiday Home in Bank’s Quarters at La Place, Shahnajaf Road, Lucknow and sector J, Aliganj, Lucknow at an estimated cost of Rs 7.5 lakh. Only those contractors/firm who fulfill the prequalification criteria are eligible to tender. The application form containing the pre-qualification criteria can be obtained free of cost from the enquiry counter of the Bank from May 20, 2010 to May 28, 2010 from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. The application form can also be downloaded from the Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in.

Application for Maintenance and catering of Visiting Officers' Flat and Transit Holiday Home in Bank’s Quarters at La Place, Shahnajaf Road, Lucknow and sector J, Aliganj, Lucknow

Only those contractors/firms who fulfill the following prequalification criteria are eligible to tender:

1. Minimum 3 years experience in the field of housekeeping and catering.

2. Should have carried out such works of minimum one year duration in the last two years for public sector undertakings, large multi-national companies and banks etc.

3. Tenderers should have minimum annual turnover of Rs. 2.25 lakh during the last 3 years including the current year supported by audited or CA certified statement of accounts.

4. Tenderers should have applicable tax registrations (PAN, TIN, VAT, CST, etc.) supported by documentary evidence.

5. Should have their own office at Lucknow.

6. Tendering contractors / firms should have  bank account in scheduled commercial bank/s.

The tender forms will be issued only to those contractors who furnish, at the time of applying for issuing of tender-forms, the following information in writing/ documents to satisfy the Bank about their eligibility for participating in the tendering process. Similarly the Tenderering firms/Contractors who download the tender forms from the Bank’s website shall ensure that they fulfill the prequalification criteria before submitting the tenders and they should also submit the details/information specified below along with tenders separately. The tenders submitted by those contractors who do not fulfill the prequalification criteria prespecified by the Bank will be summarily rejected.

(a)

Composition of the firm

Full particulars (whether contractor is an individual or a partnership firm or a company etc.) of the composition of the firm of contractors in detail should be submitted alongwith the name(s) and address(es) of the partners, copy of the Articles of association/power of Attorney/any other relevant document

(b)

Work experience

Details of work experience as per the requirements in the prequalification criteria supported by work orders, documents, certificates

The details alongwith documentary evidence of previous experience if any, of carrying out works for the Reserve Bank of India at any centre should also be given.

(c)

Creditworthiness of the contractor & their Turn over during the specified period

Copies of the Income Tax Clearance Certificates/Income Tax Assessment orders alongwith the latest final accounts of the business of the contractor duly certified by a Chartered Accountant should be enclosed in proof of their creditworthiness and turnover for last three years.

(d)

Name(s) and address(es) of the Bankers and their present contact executives

Written information about the names and address of their bankers alongwith full details like names, postal addresses, e-mail IDs, telephone (landline and mobile) nos., fax nos. etc. of the contact executives (i.e. the persons who can be contacted at the office of their bankers by the Bank, in case it is so needed) should be furnished

(e)

Details of bank accounts

Full particulars of their bank accounts, like account no., type, when opened etc. should be given

(f)

Name(s) and address(es) of the Clients and their present contact executives.

Written information about the names and addresses of their clients alongwith full details, like names, postal addresses, e-mail IDs, telephone (landline and mobile) nos., fax nos. etc. of the contact executives (i.e. the persons who can be contacted at the office of their clients by the Bank in case it is so needed) should be furnished.

(g)

Details of completed works

The client-wise names of work(s), year(s) of execution of work(s), awarded and actual cost(s) of executed work(s), names and full contact-details of the officers/authorities/departments under whom the work(s) was/were executed should be furnished.

(h)

Whether the tenderer has minimum annual turnover of Rs 2.25 lakh during the last 3 years including the current year supported by audited or CA certified statement of accounts.

Please attach audited balance sheet or CA certified statement of accounts for the last three years.

In the event of intending tenderers' failure to satisfy the Bank of the prequalification criteria, the Bank reserves the right to refuse issuance of tender forms/ documents to them, or accept the same if downloaded from the web site.

Tender forms will be issued  to the tenderers who satisfy the pre-qualification criteria by the Enquiry Counter, RBI , Lucknow from 10.00 am to 2.00pm  on all working weekdays (Monday to Friday) from May 20, 2010 to May 28, 2010. The duly filled in tender documents should be submitted by 2.00 pm on May 31, 2010.
