Minutes of Pre Bid Meeting - Providing Catering Services and Maintenance of Staff Canteen at RBI, Bhopal

With reference to our tender floated on MSTC website on May 10, 2020 RBI/Bhopal/HRMD/58/19-20/ET/457 a pre bid meeting was conducted through VC and over phone on June 01, 2020 at 11:00 am. The following firm’s representatives had participated in the meeting.

  3. M/s RK Food and Supplier.
  4. M/s AS Sales Corp.
  5. M/s Chaterjee Enterprises.
  6. M/s Shiv Caterers.(Participated in person)
  7. M/s Sakhi Hospitality.
  8. M/s Agarwal Caterers.

Shri Tushar Bhattacharya, AGM and Smt. Chitra Harode, AGM had welcomed the vendors and the following points were discussed.

Clarification sought Clarification given
Whether, it is need to submit hard copy of the bid or bid against this tender is only needed to be submitted through online. It is clarified that the tender must be filed only through online in MSTC website.
To deposit EMD against this tender in the form of cheque instead of NEFT. It is clarified that the EMD will be accepted only through NEFT to the account details as mentioned in the tender document
The GST Rate for labour component and Food component are to be indicated in the Price Bid It is clarified that the rates to be quoted by the vendor in the tender will be inclusive of all taxes but excluding GST. Further, the bidders are clarified that the GST w.r.t fixed monthly charges will be borne by the Bank. The food component however, will be paid directly by the consumer (staff).
What rates are to be referred while quoting minimum wages in Fixed Monthly Charges. It has been clarified that, the order dated 08/05/2020 released by Central Labour Commissioner may be considered while quoting the minimum wages. Further, the vendors are clarified that all other rates (in terms of percentage) like EPF, ESIC etc. must be considered as per the illustration given in the Tender Document. No temporary relaxations are applicable
Whether the Bank will bear the difference of cost if any in minimum wages/ statutory taxes as announced / implemented by the Government in the period of contract It has been clarified that as per Annex-II 2 (a) clause of the tender document that any changes in the minimum wages/ statutory taxes will be borne by the Bank.
