Corrigendum dated February 03, 2020

E-tender- No: RBI/Kochi/Estate/143/19-20/ET/289

Reserve Bank of India, Kochi has placed e-tender for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Two Nos of Electrical Passenger Lifts in Duplex mode at Bank's Office Building - KOCHI through E-tender No: RBI/Kochi/Estate/71/19-20/ET/181 on the RBI Website / MSTC portal on January 08, 2020 and the last date for submission of the e-tender is scheduled on February 03, 2020 up to 14.00 hrs.

2. In this context, it is notified that:

A) i) In the table under clause 11.02 – Datasheet of required Equipment of Section (VIII) – Technical Specification & Schedule of Work of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 54, “Provide Oil Buffers for Car and Counterweight” may be replaced with “Provide Oil/Spring Buffers for Car and Counterweight as per manufacturer’s specification and requirement”.

ii) Under clause 11.05 – LIFTS WELL EQUIPMENT of Section (VIII) – Technical Specification & Schedule of Work of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 57 under Buffers, Car and Counterweight, “Provide Oil type with blocking and support channels.”, may be replaced with “Provide Oil/Spring type with blocking and support channels.”.

B) In the table under clause 11.02 – Datasheet of required Equipment of Section (VIII) – Technical Specification & Schedule of Work of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 54, “Provide for Car and Counterweight” may be replaced with “Provide Safety Gear for Car (Provision of safety Gear for Counterweight may be done as per manufacturer’s standards)”.

C) i) In the table under clause 11.02 – Datasheet of required Equipment of Section (VIII) – Technical Specification & Schedule of Work of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 55, “Car and Counterweight Roller Guides, Provide” may be replaced with “Car and Counterweight Roller/Sliding Guides as per manufacturer’s specification and requirement, Provide”.

ii) Under clause 11.05 – LIFTS WELL EQUIPMENT of Section (VIII) – Technical Specification & Schedule of Work of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 57, “Provide counterweight with steel frame with metal filler weights and roller or swivel guide shoes.” may be replaced with “Provide counterweight with steel frame with metal filler weights and roller/sliding or swivel guide shoes as per manufacturer’s specification and requirement”.

iii) Under clause 11.07 – CAR EQUIPMENT of Section (VIII) – Technical Specification & Schedule of Work of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 59, “Provide roller type with three or more spring dampened, sound-deadening rollers per shoe.” may be replaced with “Provide roller/sliding type with three or more spring dampened, sound-deadening rollers per shoe as per manufacturer’s specification and requirement.”.

D) Time period of completion of the work has been revised to 20 weeks:

i) “18 Weeks” given under MEMORANDUM of Section (I) – Form of Tender of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 12, may be replaced with “20 Weeks”.

ii) “18 Weeks” under clause 2.2.(iii), of Section (II) – General Instructions to Tenderers and Special Conditions of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 15, may be replaced with “20 Weeks”.

iii) “18 Weeks” under clause 7 – Work sequence, of Section IV - The Conditions Hereinafter Referred To of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 30, may be replaced with “20 Weeks”.

iv) “18 Weeks” in the 2nd paragraph in page number 46, under Section (V)- Articles of Agreement of Part – I of the Tender, may be replaced with “20 Weeks”.

v) “18 Weeks” in Sr. No. 9 of the table under Commercial Conditions of Section (XII) – Check List, of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 65, may be replaced with “20 Weeks”, and

vi) “18 Weeks” in Annex 5 – Draft Articles of Agreement of Part – I of the Tender, in page number 74, may be replaced with “20 Weeks”.
