Reserve Bank of India, Kochi has placed e-tender for Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of 80 Nos of 120 AH SMF batteries in FR/FL casing for 2×60 KVA UPS Systems of Office Building of Reserve Bank of India, KOCHI through E-tender No: RBI/Kochi/Premises/71/19-20/ET/181 on the RBI Website / MSTC portal on November 15, 2019 and the last date for submission of the e-tender was scheduled on December 16, 2019 up to 14.00 hrs.

2. In this context it is notified that the clause, “Charges for Dismantling of old batteries. The interconnection of new batteries shall be of PVC insulated copper cable (FRLS) of suitable size and capacity with necessary terminal blocks, nut bolts etc. and all the cables shall be dressed in a neat manner. The existing battery stand shall be replaced/modified for access to each and every battery free of any obstruction as per available site conditions.” given in page number 34, Sl.No. 2. Under Section IV – Technical Specification of Part -1 and page number 50, Sl.No. 2, under BILL OF QUANTITY of Part-II of the Tender document for the captioned work may be replaced with “Charges for Dismantling of old batteries. The interconnection of new batteries shall be of PVC insulated copper cable (FRLS) of suitable size and capacity with necessary terminal blocks, nut bolts etc. and all the cables shall be dressed in a neat manner. The existing cables may be used for the same, provided they are compatible and are in good condition. The existing battery stand shall be replaced/modified for access to each and every battery free of any obstruction as per available site conditions.”
