Reserve Bank of India, Lucknow intends to empanel highly reputed and capable car hiring agencies/companies for the purpose of hiring cars on casual hiring basis for a period of one year (May 01, 2018 to June 30, 2019), which can be extended further for a period of two years (up to June 30, 2021) subject to annual review by the Bank based on the performance of the Tenderers (Contractor). The makes/models of such cars and the rate/categories have been listed in Annex-IV.

2. Lucknow based reputed car hiring/rent-a-car agencies/companies having adequate capacity to cater to the Bank’s requirement and those who are providing cars on hire to at least one government/semi-government/public sector banks, MNC etc. may submit their competitive rates as per Annex-IV along with copies of necessary documents as per the Annex-III in a sealed envelope superscribed “Tender/Application for empanelment of Car hiring/taxi operator agencies/companies for providing vehicles to Reserve Bank of India, Lucknow” addressed to The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Second Floor, 8-9, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow-226010 or may be dropped in the Drop Box kept in Human Resource Management Department, 2nd Floor, Reserve Bank of India Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow before 1.00 PM of April 5, 2018.

3. The last date of submission of application is on or before 1.00 P.M. April 5, 2018. The tenders will be opened at 3:00 P.M. on April 5, 2018. The approximate annual requirement of different cars will be around 500.

4. The Tenderer should own/possess most of the cars as models/makes mentioned in Annex-I & II. Apart from the above mentioned conditions, the empanelment will be subject to fulfillment of the terms and conditions spelt out by the Bank in this regard in Annex-I.

5. Only the application of Tenderers that fulfill the terms and conditions set out in Annex-I will be considered by the Bank.

6. The final empanelment will be done after the Tenderers convey in writing that the rates fixed by the Bank and the terms and conditions and scope of work as enlisted in Annex-I & II are fully acceptable to them and that the Guidelines/ Instructions mentioned in Annex-I & II will be meticulously followed by them.

7. At any time prior to the last date for receipt of tender, RBI, Lucknow, may, for any reason, whether at its own initiative or in response to a clarification requested by a prospective tenderer, modify the tender document by an amendment. The amendment will be notified on RBI website https://www.rbi.org.in and shall be binding on the prospective tenderers. In order to afford prospective tenderers reasonable time in which to take amendment into account in preparing their bids, RBI, Lucknow, may at its discretion, extend the last date of submission of tender. No tender may be modified subsequent to the last date of submission of tender. No tender may be withdrawn in the interval between the last date for submission of tender and the expiry of the tender validity period specified in the tender. Withdrawal of the tender during the interval shall result in forfeiture of the EMD.

The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders/applications without assigning any reason whatsoever.

8. The tender document along with the terms and conditions can be downloaded from Tender module of RBI’S Website https://www.rbi.org.in. The tender document can also be collected from Reserve Bank of India, HRMD, 8 -9, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar on all working days (Monday to Friday) from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM from March 15, 2018.
