Purchase of Routers and Switches for Internet access localization in the RBI : Tender Notice

T E N D E R N O T I C E

Sealed tenders in duplicate are invited for Supply, Installation and Operationalisation of Routers and Switches for Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Bidder must have successfully executed at least two projects for Supply, Installation and Operationalisation of Routers and Switches of similar kind during last two years. The bidder should be the authorized representative / dealer / distributor of the OEM. Bidder should warrant about its financial solvency i.e. it should be able to meet all its debts as and when they fall due.

Interested eligible bidders may download the tender document from corporate website of the Bank at the following URL: http://www.rbi.org.in

Bidders are requested to submit the following details along with the Technical Bid.

(i). Statement showing similar work to that of this tender, executed by the bidder along with the relevant certificate/s and documents from their customers for whom such work was executed.

(ii). Copies of last 3 accounting years audited Annual Balance Sheet and Profit and loss accounts.

(iii). Names and addresses of the bidder’s bankers and clients.

(iv). Proof in support of the fact that bidder is authorized representative / dealer / distributor of the OEM.

Separate technical and commercial bids in duplicate duly sealed and addressed to the Chief General Manager-in-Charge, Department of Information Technology, Central Office, Reserve Bank of India, 14th Floor, Central Office Building, Shahid Bhagat Singh Marg, Mumbai – 400 001 will be received up to 3.00 pm on June 20, 2005 ( Monday). The technical bids shall be opened on the same day at 4.00pm in presence of bidders.

The Reserve Bank of India will not undertake to dispatch the ‘Tender Document’ to any eligible or otherwise bidder by post or by courier under any circumstances. Similarly, Reserve Bank of India will not be responsible for the delay in receipt of the ‘Tender Document’ due to postal or otherwise delay, if any, if a bidder chooses to submit the sealed ‘Tenders’ by post and or by courier, etc.

The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the Tenders in full or in part without assigning any reasons.
