Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati - Quotation for Selling of Note Briquettes

The R.B.I Guwahati invites sealed quotations for selling of Notes Briquettes on annual contract basis from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

The quotations duly filled in should be submitted in a sealed envelope superscripted “Quotation for purchase of Notes Briquettes” addressed to A. Mazumdar, G.M, Issue Department, R.B.I Guwahati not later than 3:00 PM or before 20.04.2015. The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason whosoever.

The following terms and conditions will apply.

a) Arrangement for collection of Note Briquettes in poly bags of around 30 Kg (to be supplied by the contractor) to be made by employing adequate persons by the contractor.

b) As and when 200 bags are accumulated it should be taken outside the RBI premises and stored at their own arrangement.

c) A security deposit of Rs 50,000/- is to be deposited with the Bank which will be refunded at the end of the contract.

d) Payment has to be made in the 1st week of the following month.

e) Assam VAT @ 14.50 % and TCS @ 1% is applicable and has to be borne by contractor.

f) The rate accepted by the Bank shall remain in force till the contract period is over.

g) The contractor should use the note briquettes exclusively for industrial activities in an ecofriendly manner. It should not cause any environmental pollution/ health hazard which is detrimental to the common interest of Bank and public. Under no circumstances, briquettes lifted from us should be diverted to any place other than the premises of the industrial unit processing these briquettes.
