The Reserve Bank of India today placed on its website the eighteenth release under the series ‘Mint Street Memos (MSM)’ titled “What Drives Automobile Sales? It’s not Credit”.

The paper authored by Saurabh Ghosh, Pawan Gopalakrishnan, Abhinav Narayanan and Shekhar Tomar analyses the factors that affect automobile sales growth in India.
